YU Cyclone WDT tool
Light pressure on the handle activates the mechanism, rotating the internal threaded shaft. This moves the needles automatically through the coffee bed and distributes the grounds evenly throughout the filter basket. The movement helps break up clumps and spread the coffee evenly.
The tool has 14 fine 0.25 mm needles that distribute the coffee bed in even tracks. With 1.58 mm spacing, the needles reach almost the entire surface of the coffee puck. This helps reduce air pockets and uneven grounds, contributing to a more stable extraction.
When the tool is not in use, the needles are stored safely in the base. This built-in storage protects the needles from bending or damage and prevents them from coming loose during transport or storage.
The base has ten built-in magnets that hold the tool securely on the portafilter during use. The stirring depth is also easy to adjust by turning the handle, making the tool suitable for different filter baskets and coffee doses.
