The tool uses fine needles to break up clumps in the grounds and distribute the coffee evenly throughout the filter basket. This allows water to flow more evenly through the coffee puck, helping reduce channeling and making extraction more consistent.
The telescopic design lets you retract the needles when the tool is not in use. This protects the needles from bending or damage and makes the tool easy to store or take with you. The sturdy aluminium housing offers extra protection and is suitable for everyday use.
You can adjust the spacing between the needles using a rotating adjustment ring. This lets you adapt distribution to different grind sizes and coffee doses, keeping the tool flexible for a range of espresso setups.
