Titanium puck screen
Placed on ground coffee, the puck screen distributes water evenly across the puck surface. Water flows more steadily and channelling becomes less likely. This helps make extraction more consistent and improves espresso balance.
The screen is stainless steel with a titanium coating. This increases hardness and corrosion resistance, letting it withstand intensive use and maintain performance over time.
At just 0.8 mm thick, it fits easily in the portafilter without adjusting the coffee dose. Its double layer has 11,848 openings with a filtration precision of 0.18 mm, spreading water evenly and reducing splashing during extraction.
It also forms a protective layer between puck and brew group. Fewer coffee particles stick to the shower screen, simplifying espresso machine cleaning.
