About Milk jug 5.0
Crocodile spout · Two curved guide grooves
The 400 ml capacity suits smaller milk-based drinks. Cups of around 120-240 ml are a useful guideline for this size. Match the amount of cold milk to your recipe and leave room for foam. The jug's capacity isn't a filling recommendation. The amount that works comfortably also depends on your steam wand and the foam you want.

Hold the shaped, smoothly finished handle between your fingers or wrap your hand around it. Choose a grip that lets you tilt gently and make small pouring movements. The empty jug weighs around 170 grams.

Is this right for me?
Consider your milk-based drink, space under your steam wand and how you like to pour.
You make a small cappuccino or flat white, for example. If you usually use cups around 120-240 ml, the 400 ml version is a logical size to consider.
Use a steam wand to froth milk in the jug. Check there's room to place and tilt the jug underneath. You can also transfer milk frothed elsewhere and use the jug just for pouring.
The spout gives direction to the milk. You practise with the amount, distance and movement. If you already have a jug that works comfortably, consider whether the smaller size or this spout adds something to your preparation.
How it works
Add cold milk to the clean jug. Match the amount to your cup and leave room for the milk to expand while frothing.
Keep the steam tip just below the surface to add air briefly. Then lower it slightly and let the milk swirl. Turn off the steam before removing the jug and clean the steam wand.
Gently swirl the jug on your worktop to keep milk and foam mixed. Look for a glossy, fluid texture. Pour straight afterwards.
Pour a thin, continuous stream into the espresso from a few centimetres above. For a pattern, bring the spout close to the surface and tilt the jug a little further to increase the milk flow.

Frequently asked questions
This 5.0 has a 400 ml capacity and a crocodile spout with two curved guide grooves. The GT offers 600 ml, a wide U-shaped spout, a slanted top rim and a diamond-shaped handle. Choose based on your milk quantity and the spout and grip you find comfortable.
That depends on the size of your drinks and how much milk you need. The jug must leave room for foam. A larger jug is often more practical for two larger milk-based drinks. You can also prepare a fresh portion for each cup.
Yes. How it froths and pours depends on its composition and your technique. Use a drink suitable for frothing and follow the temperature advice on the packaging. The jug doesn't automatically make stiff foam pourable.
Transfer milk frothed elsewhere into the jug for pouring. For latte art, milk and foam need to flow as one fluid mixture. If using a hand frother inside the jug, check there's enough room for the attachment and milk movement.
No. The two guide grooves lead milk towards the same crocodile spout. You pour from one spout.
Rinse away milk residue after use and wash the jug with warm water, mild washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Clean the grooves and spout rim too. Dry the jug and avoid abrasive cleaners to protect the finish.
