About Cerapresso Travel Kit
A capsule on your break. Your own dose when you have time.
On a short break, you want minimal preparation. Use a capsule. When you have more time, fill the filter basket with your own ground coffee. The Travel Kit lets you do both. The machine heats the water and makes the espresso. After use, pack the cooled, dry parts together in the travel case.
Make coffee wherever you are.
Heat and brew without a power socket.
Add water and coffee and start with the button. The built-in battery powers the heater and pump. You don't need to boil the water first or pump by hand. Add fresh coffee and water for each espresso.
Switch between capsules and ground coffee.
With a Nespresso Original capsule, you don't need to grind or tamp. To choose your own dose, use the included filter basket for 14-16 grams of ground coffee. Both coffee holders are included. Choose which one to use each time you brew.
Save the settings you enjoy.
Adjust temperature, pre-infusion and extraction time in the Bluetooth app. Taste the effect of a change and save a combination you'd like to use again. You won't need to select those settings every time. The app offers extra options, but isn't needed to make coffee.

Not every coffee break calls for the same preparation.
Sometimes you want to insert a capsule and start. At other times, you want to choose and dose your own coffee. You want to use the same machine for both.You want to try different settings.
You enjoy adjusting temperature and timing and tasting the difference. The app helps you do that. Your choice of coffee and preparation still affect your espresso too.You regularly take the set with you.
The case keeps the machine and loose parts together. Bring your own water and coffee, make sure the battery is charged and clean the used parts afterwards.
How it works
Choose your coffee, add water and start.

Choose your coffee.
Place a Nespresso Original capsule in the adapter. Or fill the filter basket with 14-16 grams of ground coffee and tamp it evenly. - 02
Attach the holder.
Screw the filled coffee holder onto the underside of the machine and have your cup ready. Check that everything is securely attached before starting. - 03
Add water.
Fill the reservoir with 50-80 ml of water and close the lid. Room-temperature water is enough. Stay below the maximum mark. - 04
Start brewing.
Hold the button for two seconds. The machine heats the water, then starts extraction automatically. Let the coffee holder cool after use before opening it.
Adjust one setting at a time.
Want to change your brew? Connect the machine to the app and start with one setting. Use the same coffee and dose to make it easier to taste what changes. Save the combination you enjoy for your next brew.

What you need to add
Water, capsules or ground coffee and a suitable USB charging adapter. To grind your own beans, you'll also need a suitable coffee grinder. The Mini stand is a separate accessory and is not included.

Anything else you'd like to know about the Travel Kit?
How does it differ from the standard Cerapresso?
The Travel Kit has app control and comes with a travel case. The standard Cerapresso doesn't have these extras. Both use capsules or ground coffee and have a built-in battery and heater. Choose mainly according to how you want to operate and carry the machine.
Do I need the app to make coffee?
No. You can heat water and make espresso with the button. Use the app to adjust brewing and save settings. You don't need to reach for your phone for every espresso.
Which capsules fit?
Use Nespresso Original-format capsules. Nespresso Vertuo and Dolce Gusto do not fit. For other brands, check that the capsules are intended for the Original system.
Do I need a coffee grinder?
Not for capsules. You can use suitable ground coffee in the filter basket. To grind your own beans and adjust the grind, you'll need a suitable espresso grinder. The machine does not grind beans itself.
How many brews can I make on a full battery?
The stated capacity is up to 8 brews using 50 ml of room-temperature water each, or up to 4 using 80 ml. Colder water, other settings and the surroundings can reduce this number. The millilitres refer to the water you add, not the amount of espresso you get.
How much espresso does the reservoir produce?
You get less espresso in your cup than the amount of water you add. Some water remains in the coffee, among other places. The yield also depends on your coffee and brewing method. Use scales to track how much you brew.
Can I use water that's already hot?
Yes. With hot water, you can extract straight away, so the battery doesn't need to heat the water first. Prepare your coffee and have your cup ready. Follow the manual's instructions for starting extraction without heating.
Which charger or power bank can I use?
Use a suitable USB power source rated at least 10 W. To charge at up to 30 W, you need a compatible power source and cable. A USB-C connection alone does not guarantee this. The charging cable is included; the adapter is not. If you're unsure about your charger or power bank, send us the brand and model.
Can I make a large coffee or cappuccino?
Add hot water to the espresso in your cup for a larger coffee. For cappuccino, heat and froth the milk separately. Only fill the machine's reservoir with water.
How do I clean the Travel Kit?
Let the coffee holder cool before opening it. Remove the used capsule or coffee and rinse the removable coffee holder and filter basket. Keep the seals free of coffee residue. Wipe the housing with a slightly damp cloth. Let everything dry before packing it in the case, and do not immerse the machine.
