Adjustable distribution
WDT is the distribution step between grinding and tamping. With a manual WDT tool, movement, coverage and duration can vary between espressos. Cerakite turns that hand movement into a motorised cycle, so you don't need to recreate the same stirring pattern for every shot.
The rotating needles move through the ground coffee. They help break up clumps and redistribute coffee across the puck's working area. This gives tamping a more even starting point and can help limit differences in puck density.
The cycle duration is adjustable. Match Cerakite to your dose, grind and filter basket. You can also enable vibration mode for additional support during distribution.
Position a suitable portafilter, choose your settings and start the cycle with one button press. Cerakite performs the distribution movements automatically. Afterwards, remove the tool, tamp the coffee and start extraction.
The built-in 2000mAh battery allows cordless use beside your espresso machine. Charge via USB-C.
Please note: Cerakite is designed exclusively for 58 mm portafilters with two locking lugs.
Cerakite does not replace tamping. Coffee beans, grind, dose, filter basket, tamping pressure and espresso machine settings still affect extraction.
