Constant-pressure tamper
The triple-spring system consists of a reset spring, a horizontal stabilising spring and a constant-pressure spring. Together, these components ensure pressure is distributed evenly during tamping. A fixed pressure of approximately 30 lbs prevents over- or under-tamping, helping make extraction easier to control.
The tamper springs back automatically after pressing, ensuring each tamp is performed in the same way. A tamping depth of approximately 14 mm makes it suitable for different grind sizes and doses. A horizontal stabilising ring helps keep the tamper level while pressing, so the coffee puck is compressed evenly.
The construction combines hardened aluminium alloy with SUS304 stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. These materials are suitable for heavy everyday use and retain their shape and finish.
The handle is polished with a matt finish for a comfortable grip. The hollow structure in the stabilising ring prevents coffee residue from building up, keeping the tamper easy to clean.
